Feels like singing hey Macarena song. Well I prepared this for our yesterday nights dinner and today it went for my sons tiffin too,so this can be had as a breakfast,lunch or dinner,choice is yours..My kids love pasta in any form,so I wanted to prepare something different.I used to prepare this often for my husbands tiffin since he prefers Indian food.
Ingredients:
Macaroni-1
packet,cook as per instructions
Onion-2,sliced
thinly
Cabbage-1/3
cup,chopped
Carrot-1,chopped
Ginger garlic
paste-1 tsp
Red chilly-2(optional)
Chilly powder-1/2
tsp
Turmeric
powder-1/4 tsp
Garam masala
powder-1 tsp
Coriander
powder-1 tsp
Coriander
leaves-few,to garnish
Olive oil-
3 tsp
Salt-to
taste
Tomato
sauce-2 tsp
Method:
- Heat oil
in pan and fry ginger garlic paste and red chilly,add all the veggies and fry it on high flame
for few minutes.
- Add the
powders one by one and fry it in low flame,add cooked macaroni,tomato sauce and
salt to taste.
- Cover and cook for for sometime.
- Garnish with
coriander leaves.
My notes:
You may
also add crushed garlic as a variation.
You may
add few Cashewnuts too.
You may add tomatoes instead of tomato sauce.
